Senior leadership teams from the Crespellano and Fontanafredda facilities welcomed the Raimondi Group delegation during their first official site visits
Building on the acquisition of key lifting businesses from US-based Terex Corporation, Raimondi Group CEO, Luigi Maggioni, together with members of the senior leadership team conducted a series of townhalls across Terex facilities in Italy to meet the teams from the newly acquired divisions.

The inaugural visits took place at the Crespellano facility in Bologna and the Fontanafredda facility in Pordenone, Italy.
The Raimondi leadership team began their visit on November 5 at the Crespellano site, home to Terex Rough Terrain Cranes, where the delegation was warmly welcomed by the site’s leadership team.

Following an initial managers meeting, Maggioni addressed the company’s employees emphasizing the strategic importance of this segment within Raimondi’s long-term vision.

“The rough terrain division plays a key role in our diversification strategy and is central to Raimondi’s mission of becoming a global leader in heavy lifting solutions,” stated Maggioni, adding that the Crespellano team’s “expertise, products, and commitment to excellence are essential pillars in building the future of our Group.”

The tour of the production facilities showcased the craftsmanship, technical expertise, and dedication that have long defined the legacy of the Crespellano-based facility.

During the tour, led by Terex Rough Terrain General Manager, Giancarlo Montanari, Raimondi’s delegation walked the manufacturing line, witnessing each stage of production and exploring both the site’s efficiency and products’ capabilities. The experience offered a hands-on perspective on the precision, innovation, and teamwork that drive the plant’s operational excellence.

The second leg of the roadshow brought the Raimondi leadership team to Fontanafredda on November 7, at the headquarters of Terex Tower Cranes.
Welcomed by General Manager Francesco Aiello and his senior management team, Raimondi Group CEO met employees from different departments, toured the manufacturing lines for both flat-top and self-erecting cranes, and discussed the company’s objectives for the upcoming months.

The day concluded with an all-hands meeting, held on one of the manufacturing lines at the Fontanafredda site, where Raimondi Group CEO stated: “Today we bring together two Italian manufacturing legacies under a shared ambition. The complementarity of our products, combined with the passion and know-how of our teams, opens up new possibilities to strengthen our market position and redefine what’s possible in the tower crane segment.”

With the integration underway, Raimondi now counts multiple business lines, including self-erecting and rough terrain cranes, enabling the Group to serve a broader spectrum of construction and infrastructure needs.

These visits served as an important first step in bringing the newly acquired businesses into the Group, reinforcing collaboration, open communications, and a people-first approach.
Aiming to build on the long-standing engineering expertise across the combined teams, the roadshow will conclude with Raimondi Group CEO visit to the Terex service and spare parts hub in Wilmington, USA.
