Swiss rental fleet company takes delivery of first ten machines, already deployed across different jobsites
Interkran, Raimondi’s long-standing Swiss distributor for over two decades, has placed an order for 18 Raimondi flat-top tower cranes as part of the company’s ongoing fleet expansion program, aimed at supporting increasing demand across the Swiss construction sector.
The order includes seven MRT159s, five MRT189s, one MRT234 and five MRT294s. The first units, two MRT294-16t, seven MRT159-8t cranes and one MRT234, have been already delivered and deployed across various jobsites in Switzerland.

“We are reinforcing the company’s ability to support construction projects across the Swiss market by continuing to invest in our fleet with several new Raimondi cranes,” stated Antonio Teixeira, General Manager, Interkran.
With a fleet currently comprising approximately 250 Raimondi cranes, Interkran continues to strengthen its position within the regional tower crane rental market.
“We selected these specific models due to their lifting capacities, operational versatility, significant load charts, and ease of installation; key characteristics required to support a diverse range of complex applications across the country,” explained.

To date, the first ten cranes have already been installed across two jobsites in north-east Switzerland, supporting residential developments where efficient assembly, adaptability, and optimized lifting performance remain critical.
Eight additional models, set for delivery in the coming weeks, will be deployed on major infrastructure developments within the country, further reinforcing the growing presence of Raimondi cranes across high-profile Swiss projects.
“The collaboration between Raimondi Cranes and Interkran continues to reflect a shared focus on performance, reliability, and long-term growth within the European heavy lifting industry,” commented Luigi Maggioni, Group CEO, Raimondi.
