Rental fleet company, Nuova Age, installed its first Raimondi T97 flat-top for a new residential housing project in Milan, Italy.
“Nuova Age has expanded our multi-brand fleet with a T Series Raimondi crane. The new model’s tip load, lifting speeds, and enhanced technology; with the latter streamlining operations, commissioning, and maintenance, ensures optimal performance and reliability onsite,” stated Diego Giovannelli, Nuova Age, Managing Director.
Installed with a jib length of 40.5m at a height of 46.5m, the Raimondi T97 presents a tip load of 2.75t and has a maximum lifting capacity of 6t in two falls configuration. Equipped with a 30kW hoist gear, the crane can lift at a maximum speed of 100m/min, with a drum capacity of 340m.
Highlighting the crane’s part modularity and interchangeability as an asset when considering fleet planning and new machine additions; Giovannelli confirmed that the T97 is scheduled to remain onsite for approximately two years.
Fitted with Lumina crane cabin, the flat-top’s control system, ConCore, presents instant and improved diagnostics, enhanced remote access and teleintervention, as well as electronic sensors and dual control for swifter crane commissioning and extremely precise calibration.
“The technological advancements of this model diversifies our fleet, while aligning with modern construction demands and requirements. To fully unlock the potential of the new machines, and to offer our clients operational excellence, we participated in a Raimondi product training staged at the manufacturer’s headquarters focusing on the T Series models,” Giovannelli added.
Nuova Age staff attended the Raimondi training seminar in May 2024, delving into the new Series with practical and theoretical classes. The attendees experienced tailored, hands-on sessions learning ConCore’s main applications; enabling optimized product performances, enhanced operational efficiency, and safety.
The smallest Raimondi flat-top in the Class 110 Series, the T97 has enjoyed strong market reception in Italy with several models sold across the country.
